Founder & Executive Director, 5 to Save a Life
USOA Mrs. Battle Born 2025
Katherine Rosenberger-Martin is the founder and executive director of 5 to Save a Life, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to mental health education and suicide prevention. Drawing from her own lived experience with mental illness, Katherine turned her personal battle into a mission to empower others to speak up, seek help, and support one another through connection and compassion.
As USOA Mrs. Battle Born 2025, Katherine uses her pageant platform to advocate for accessible mental health resources and open conversations surrounding suicide awareness. She believes true beauty comes from courage, vulnerability, and service—and she wears her crown as a symbol of hope and strength for others still fighting their battles.
Currently completing her Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism, Katherine is committed to expanding mental health education not only in schools but also throughout the hospitality industry—an often-overlooked community where high stress and long hours can deeply impact emotional wellbeing. By merging her professional experience in hospitality with her passion for mental health advocacy, she aims to create safer, more supportive workplaces and communities.
Through 5 to Save a Life, Katherine continues to remind others that one conversation, one resource, and one act of kindness can truly save a life
